The Ultimate Endurance Horse with the Vibrant Palomino Color!
RTM has had the "palomino vision" in mind for years. The problem was Arabians did not come in the palomino color, flaxen at best. The palomino gene is not available for DNA on any registered Arabian. Therefore, I had to decide what cross would be the best that had the palomino color, with good conformation and power.
Every horse breed can excel in different disciplines, here at RTM our goal was the "Terminator Horse". A horse who would "eat-up" the competition and not be too heavy as to over-heat when competing in endurance riding. My choice was the Anglo-Arab. Since the Thoroughbred originates from the Arabian breed and recognized as a bred by AHA; It seemed only natural. AA's have been respected and admired for centuries by renown breeders. Few know the Crabbet horse was originally to be the rebirth of the Anglo-Arabs.
Having decided to bred Anglo-Arabs or AA's, the decision was made to switch to the full Arab mare, and the TB stallion. Past Ranch breeding's of TB mares to Zar produced large TB bodies, foals getting the size from the mother. Although these foals were outstanding, I found that when using the Arab mares these foals were more balanced in conformation, and much more Arab in stature and disposition, which work better in regard to endurance riding.
With my Choices made I searched for some TB palominos, my chance at best for color was 50%. In 1998 the world changed for TB and color, the first cremello stallions were born and the rest is history. Here at RTM we are blessed to have Two wonderful palomino "Milkie" progeny. Titus TB and my beautiful Trixie AA.
RTM Azgudazz Gold is a 50% TB/Arab filly, AHA registered Anglo-Arab, born in 2002 out of our foundation mare, Nefretiri Ruby by Guaranteed Gold a cremello JC registered TB.

This little filly is something! She is such a spitfire; she shows amazing spirit. When I see this combo, I know it's a great cross.
Kontico was bred as an Endurance horse and will be retained on the ranch. She was broke to ride this summer. Look for Kontico in 2005 competing in AERC.
Her Dam is for sale on our sales page and is in-foal with full sibling by HCC Zarmaro due Sept, 2004.
Kontico, as a weanling
Kontico with Dam, RF Magic Destination
She is called Trixie at RTM, as she keeps changing color each shedding. Born a pumpkin color with blue eyes that changed to a dark dunnish color, to only shed out to a pale creme as a yearling.
RTM is retaining this special filly with future plans of breeding Trixie for one or two years before she starts her career competing in AERC.
Expected to mature at 15.3 - 16 hhs, Trix has one of the whitest mane & tails I have ever seen. As a two year-old it is well passed her shoulders. Just gorgeous! RTM hit Gold!

RTM Triple Threat, a beautiful palomino colt born March 23, 2004; 50% TB/Arab AHA registered Anglo-Arab, out of our foundation mare, Nefretiri Ruby by our Stallion Titus, a JC registered TB. He's sure to be threat in any discipline and a definite stallion prospect for a serious breeder.
Yes,
he's for sale!
A Sabino colt with all the chrome too!
Three white stockings, and his blaze is cut out almost exactly like his dam with white on his lower lip.
All four photos are at one month.
Everyone who sees this colt has been impressed. If you're looking to make a statement...he is your ticket. He could be your ultimate Show horse, Jon is performance quality, and He could be your stallion prospect...Jon is a "Triple Threat"
Jon is going to be a nice size boy and should finish out 15.3 - 16hh.s.
Just look at those legs as tall as his dam at birth. He has a perfect neck and lovely poll that bends all so nice.
Jon's reach is amazing and he just loves to strut! A very friendly and playful boy who loves his mama.
Photo at five months.
RTM Amerigold, a beautiful palomino filly born August 16, 2004; 50% TB/Arab pending AHA registered Anglo-Arab,out of SVF Magida Sunn, by our Stallion Titus, a JC registered TB. Wanda is a very feminine filly who displays a very courageous heart. I put this filly on order, and can't believe I got it!
Wanda at 2 months
Wanda has beautiful straight legs and enjoys a gorgeous long neck as all of her sires foals have. She should be a very dark palomino; her shade is a delicious deep red!
This filly might be for sale, I haven't made a firm decision as yet.
Wanda has a blaze almost like her 1/2 brother Jon, just slightly wider. She was born with pumpkin colored skin and blue eyes, that has turned to black skin and brown eyes.
Since her legs are so light, it is almost impossible to see how many socks, even at two months. They could be roaned socks like her dams.
